With Hoobastank on to their next album Every Man For Himself, vocalist Doug Robb said he doesn't want fans to get the idea that they're a soft rock band.

Hoobastank is playing free shows in advance of their new album, Every Man For Himself, but the free tickets are hard to get and made for fans.

Hoobastank is set to release their follow-up to The Reason next month, and that album's title track is a tall order to follow-up.
