Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! (commonly known by its initialism, SRMTHG) is an American animated television series, and was created by Ciro Nieli, one of the producers of Teen Titans, with animation being done by a Japanese studio known as The Answer Studio (which would later work on the Cartoon Network original series Transformers: Animated). Set mainly on the fictional planet of Shuggazoom, the series follows the adventures of five robotic monkeys and a human boy named Chiro as they struggle to protect their planet - and the rest of the universe - from the forces of evil.

As is obvious from the visual appearance of the show, there is a significant anime influence present, despite being produced for American television. It was also influenced by Star Trek, Super Sentai (known in the US as Power Rangers), and Star Wars. The show also contains various references to pop culture, a notable example being the episode Season of the Skull which is an obvious parody of the 1970s thriller The Wicker Man.

iro: Nice call Sprx! rx-77: Nice? Ha! I deserve a medal! Maybe something gold. You know with those little wings.

nmay: I'm not ready to say goodbye. iro: Then don't. nmay: See ya, someday.

tauri: Mandarin let Chiro go! Your fight is with us. ndarin: No. My fight with you is over!

to: [the Monkey is on a planet with lots of metal looking for Sprx] Look at this place! Have you ever seen such paradise? va: Of rusty old junk? Huh, no.

eleton King: Citizens neal down before me or send out your monkeys! [the monkey come out to fight] Monkeys it is.

rx-77: [about Scrapperton] He took my hands my beautiful hands he these man hands. I think they're his hands. to: Wow! Can you crack your knuckles? [Then Nova elbows Otto]

bson: [Gibson shows off his latest battle move] I dub them Bio Static Energy Application Darts. to: Ooh, Ooh, I know! How about, the Spin Shocker! bson: Spin Shocker? Please it's not a dance move.

rora Six: [Aurora Six is firing her gun at Nova when Sprx uses his magnets to get the gun] I thought you liked me. rx-77: I do, she doesn't [then Nova tackles her]

rapperton: Now, what was it that the red monkey said? Oh, yes. Magno-Ball Blazer!

to: If Sprx were here he would go rescue... himself.

iro: If I am the chosen one, it's time to prove it!

bson: [about Johnny Sunspot's blackhole energy power] Um. Blackhole energy is extremely unstable, bringing his gloves together like that could destroy the universe. iro: Ok Dr. Brainstrain!

iro: [repeated line in the show intro] While exploring the outskirts of the city, I discovered an abandoned super robot. It was then my life was transformed by the mysterious Power Primate. The robot monkeys were awakened and I, Chiro, became their leader. Our quest: Save Shuggazoom City from the evils of the Skeleton King.

rx-77: We have nothing to worry about. They're not real pilots, they only play them on TV. va: [the Super Robot unleashes a missile barrage] They're not playing now!

va: [sees Sprx slacking off] Gee, don't wear yourself out, Sprx. You know, there is one rocket left. rx-77: Of course! How selfish of me! [gives Nova rocket] Anything to help! [Nova knocks him off the Robot's foot]

to: [Otto and Gibson are trying to load more missiles into the fist rockets] Move it more to the left! No, no, my other left! bson: I am perfectly aware which way left is.

iro: We save Shuggazoom first. Then we find Skeleton King.

iro: [in reference to Skeleton King] You're no king. You're a slave.

va: We're gonna miss you, Antauri. bson: He always believed the end of life was but the beginning of a greater journey. to: But, he's all alone now. rx-77: No, no Monkey Team member is ever alone.

eleton King: Surely as Shuggazoom will fall, the universe will follow...

iro: Antauri, I failed you. eleton King: You failed your world.
