Panic at the Disco (previously known as Panic! at the Disco, and often shortened to merely Panic!, P!ATD, P!@tD, or PATD) is a band that originated in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Their sound incorporates elements of pop, electronica, dance, and rock, along with many other genres. Their 2005 debut album, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, reached #13 on the US Billboard 200, and has sold over 2.2 million copies since its September 2005 release. The band's second album, Pretty. Odd., will be released March 25, 2008. The album's first single, "Nine in the Afternoon", was released on January 29, 2008.
