"One" is a Grammy Award winning song performed by thrash metal band Metallica. One of Metallica's most famous songs, "One" appeared as the fourth track of, and was released as the third single from, the band's 1988 album ...And Justice for All. Metallica won their first Grammy Award in 1990 for "One", winning Best Metal Performance. "One" was also the band's first Top 40 hit single, peaking at #35 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #15 on the Mainstream Rock charts.
"One" is the third single from U2's 1991 album, Achtung Baby, and was released in 1992. It is widely considered to be one of the band's greatest songs and is consistently featured in lists of the greatest songs of all time. In the video Dave tries unsuccessfully to get the attention of a classmate.
When it aired on MTV, the chorus was slightly altered. The unedited version goes, "You're not the one, but you're the only one who can make me feel like this / You're not the one, but you're the only one who can make me feel like shit!" The edited version simply repeats the first line twice so as to avoid the climactic expletive.

Oneya (born August 17, 1979 in Belgrade, Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia) is a popular Serbian hip-hop producer and the founder of the Bassivity label, in partnership with Soul Flower production.
Born Vanja Ulepić (Serbian: Вања Улепић), he grew up in Belgrade, and later lived in several European countries. He graduated from Highschool of Design in 1993, and later Fine Art Academy in 1999.
In 2000, Oneya founded Bassivity, the hiphop music label, which grew into full size record company Bassivity Music in 2002. This has been the first and to date only hip hop music record company not only in Serbia, but in the entire Balkans region.
He produced several albums for groups and solo artists such as V.I.P., Marčelo, Struka, Shorty, and also worked with Bad Copy,Lud,Suid ,Trial,Gru,43zla, Juice, Edo Maajka, Gospoda, Tokyo. He greatly helped the popularisation of hip hop music in Serbia in the new millennium.

The One was the fourth single from the Backstreet Boys' hit album Millennium. The single has a very simple video showing each of the Backstreet Boys backstage and concert footage. This song was also used as the opening song in the shonen anime Hanada Shonen-shi.
In a 2005 interview on The View, the group stated they never really intended The One as their fourth single. The group held a poll which allowed fans to choose what the next single off their album should be, and after Nick Carter himself called in and voted for "The One", his large fan-base followed. The song the rest of the group really wanted to be a single was "Don't Want You Back". A.J. McLean states "Don't Want You Back" is his favorite song the group has done.

The dysfunctional brainchild of Tame One & Dusted Dons (C-Chan, Govone & DJ Melski) Tame One and Dusted Dons linked up in 2006 for their self titled album, Slow Suicide Stimulus on FloSpot Records. A second album is due in autumn 2007. Tame One is a rapper residing in New Jersey and was a former member of the New Jersey rap group 'The Artifacts' in the mid 90's. He has since then gone on a solo career and has released 3 solo albums in total "When Rappers Attack (2003) O.G. Bobby Johnson (2005) and Spazmatic (2006) the same year also saw the release of the self titled 'slow suicide stimulus' album which has been reviewed as some as the best hip-hop release of 2006. In 2004, he collaborated with Cage Kennylz and created a concept album about pcp called Waterworld.
