"Nothing Lasts Forever" is the fourth single from The Living End's fourth studio album, State of Emergency. It was released on August 19. The single only debuted at #39. This was the song that was played by SBS for the video for stage 15 of the 2006 Tour de France, up to Alpe D'Huez.

Nothing Lasts Forever is the second single lifted from Jebediah's 2002 self-titled album, produced by Magoo. It is the follow up single to the first hit single "Fall Down" from their album, Jebediah. It was released February 18 2002 and reached number 50 on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart.
