"No More (Baby I'ma Do Right)" is the debut single from 3LW's self-titled debut album 3LW. The single was released in the late 2000, but did not chart in most countries until early 2001. It reached #23 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is considered 3LW's signature song. It is also 3LW's only single to date to reach the Top 30 on Billboard Hot 100.
"No More" is the third and final single release from Jamelia's third studio album, Walk with Me. The single is notable for its sample from "Golden Brown" by The Stranglers. A slightly altered single mix was released for the actual single release.
"No More" generally received positive reviews from critics. Website Digital Spy described it as "a fantastically funky, deliciously soulful piece of pop music." . The Guardian stated "Jamelia emerges the richer from all the thieving, less mumsy and more roguish." . While The Times stated the track was "oddly dignified gospel." .
Like the previous two singles from Walk with Me ("Something About You" and "Beware of the Dog"), "No More" received a positive amount of airplay, being A-listed on BBC Radio 2 and C-listed on BBC Radio 1 . The single has so far peaked at number eleven in the UK radio airplay charts .
Despite the radio support, albeit being less than Jamelia's previous singles from Walk with Me, "No More" became her lowest charting single since "Boy Next Door" peaked at number forty-two in 2000 and only her third to miss the top forty ("So High" failed to chart altogether). "No More" peaked at number forty-three.
This single was not released internationally, except some coutries like Poland, Czech Republic and Malta. Also, it's the final single to be released via Parlophone, due to her leaving of the British Label.
"No More" is a single by the Anglo-Norwegian band a1, from their album The A list.
Peaking at #6, it was a1's seventh consecutive Top 10 single in the UK, following back-to-back Number Ones there with "Take on Me" (a cover of a-ha's 1985 hit) and "Same Old Brand New You". The third and final single from The A List, "No More" was their only single to be released in 2001. In fact, they would have two more hits before band member Paul Marazzi's sudden departure caused the group's dissolution in 2002.
The music video for "No More" was filmed in Singapore, the Asian Pacific region being a major market for the boy band sound.
Of the band's ten singles, this was one of only two not to be written by members of the group (the other of course being "Take On Me"), although b-side "I'll Take The Tears" was co-written by Ben Adams. Reworking the song for two maxi singles were top American remixers Riprock 'n' Alex G (famous for their work with 'N Sync) and DJ E-Smoove, as well as Cutfather & Joe. Bonus tracks included two covers, of Commodores classic "Three Times A Lady", and Latin Pop sensation Ricky Martin's "Livin' La Vida Loca".
