Meredith Edwards (June 10, 1917 - February 8, 1999) was a Welsh character actor and writer.
Edwards was born in Rhosllannerchrugog, Denbighshire, Wales. He is the father of actor Ioan Meredith, and the grandfather of actors Ifan Meredith and Rhys Meredith
His film appearances include A Run for Your Money (1949), The Blue Lamp (1950), The Lavender Hill Mob (1951), The Cruel Sea (1953), Dunkirk (1958) and Tiger Bay (1959).
He appeared as the murderous butler in the cult television series Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) in 1969.
Meredith Edwards (b. March 15 1984, Clinton, Mississippi) was a one-time country music singer.
At the age of five, she was a member of the traveling choir the Mississippi Show Stoppers, along with friends Clint Hickman (Pearl, MS) and Lance Bass of NSYNC. Both Bass and Edwards were in the Clinton High School show choir, Attaché, though not at the same time.
Lance had signed Meredith to his own management called Free Lance Entertainment. In 2001, she released her first CD, Reach, under the Universal label. The album debuted at #24 on the Top Current Country Album Chart and was produced by Richard Marx.
Edwards earned a double degree in Political Science and History from Belmont University in Nashville. She now attends law school at University of Mississippi where she participates in LSSB and is a staff member for the Mississippi Law Journal. She is dating Mclean Collins (originally of Milan, Tennessee), who attended Vanderbilt University (BA, Philosophy, 2004) and now works in development for Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia.
