Majesty is a power metal band from Germany. The band is heavily influenced by Manowar both musically and lyrically, and even had former Manowar guitarist Ross "The Boss" Friedman appear on their second album, Sword & Sorcery.

It is not connected with the progressive metal band Dream Theater, whose original name was "Majesty". Also, Majesty is not the band which threatened legal action against Dream Theater for intellectual property infringement related to the use of its name.

There are several bands named Majesty: 1. German metal band created in 1997 by Tarek “MS” Maghary and Udo Keppner. Majesty stands for loud and wild Heavy Metal in styles of musical paragons such as Manowar , Iron Maiden , Judas Priest or Accept . Stefan Kaufmann (U.D.O., ex-Accept) produced the album ‘Hellforces’. (Critics says that’s why sound and manner of playing drums is very similar to drums U.D.O. 1997-…). 2.
