"Let's Get Loud" is the fifth and final single from Jennifer Lopez's debut album, On the 6 (1999), released in 2000. As the single was released in Europe and Australia only, it wasn't able to enter the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. However, the song did manage to chart on the U.S. Hot Dance Club Play, peaking at number thirty-nine. The song also earned Lopez her second nomination for the Grammy Award for "Best Dance Recording" in 2001 (the first being for "Waiting for Tonight" the previous year).

The song was originally written for Gloria Estefan, but feeling it was a little too similar to many of her previous songs, she decided that Lopez could put a new spin on it and would have more fun with it.

In Australia, where the single received heavy airplay, the song became somewhat of an anthem for major sporting events on TV due to the song's empowering lyrics.

Portions of this song are also played at some ice hockey games in the USA to try to "pump up" the crowd.

The song was covered by singer Taylor Horn, who recorded the song on her debut album, taylor-made at the age of nine in 2002.

"Let's Get Loud" was the Estonian entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005, performed in English by Suntribe. The author of the music and lyrics was Sven Lõhmus.

As Estonia had not qualified for the final in their previous appearance, the song was performed in the semi-final. Here, it was performed twelfth (following Belgium's Nuno Resende with Le Grand Soir and preceding Norway's Wig Wam with In My Dreams). At the close of voting, it had received 31 points, placing 20th in a field of 25 songs and failing to qualify for the final - additionally, forcing Estonia to enter the Contest at the semi-final stage at their next appearance.

The song is an up-tempo number, with the band describing themselves as being out for a good time. They sing that "boring yesterday is gone" and that the only thing to do is to "get loud". The performance was criticised on a number of grounds, with the main two being its static nature (the girls spent most of their time behind turntables) and the fact that it was sung slightly out of key. A further problem faced by the band was that Wig Wam's performance immediately after theirs was of a sufficiently high standard to blur memories of their own.

It was succeeded as Estonian representative at the 2006 Contest by Sandra Oxenryd with Through My Window.
