Lee James Gaze, (born May 21, 1975)in the welsh town of Pontypridd, is the lead guitarist, and also one of the founding members, of the Welsh alternative rock band Lostprophets. He grew up on a council estate, along with fellow 'Prophets, Ian Watkins and Mike Lewis.

Lee is living in Shoreditch, East London with his fiancee at the present time although he is considering moving back to south Wales and is the only member still permanently living in the UK. Lee has a younger sister, Sophie and an older brother. He is known for his use of the Fender Telecaster and live improvisation. Lee also uses PRS double cut away guitars for jamming sessions but usually records with a fender american telecaster or a fender jazzmaster although he is always seen using a red standard telecaster in drop D tuning for approx 90% of his live performances.
