Korey Cooper (born July 21, 1972) is the keyboardist, guitarist, and backing vocalist for the Christian rock band Skillet. Her husband, John Cooper, is the lead singer and bassist of the band, as well as one of the founding members.
Before joining Skillet, Korey was a member of the band Alkeme along with Lori Peters, her sister, and other people from her church.
Korey joined Skillet in 1999, between the albums Hey You, I Love Your Soul and Invincible. She has two children, and had other musicians fill in for her on tour when they were born. She has co-written many of Skillet's songs with her husband.
In interviews and blogs, she said that Skillet guitarist Ben Kasica is her "coffee friend", because they both have a love of coffee, and John Cooper and Lori Peters don't really drink coffee.
