Jonathan Adams (February 14, 1931 - June 13, 2005) was a British actor, born in Northampton, England.
He acted in a number of roles in British TV and film, including the part of Adam in the TV mini-series Jesus of Nazareth and the part of Carter in Nemesis.
He acted as the Narrator in the original London production of The Rocky Horror Show, but he is more famous for portraying the part of Dr. Everett Von Scott in The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
He was member of the London cast of Tom Foolery.
He died in London, England of a stroke at the age of 74.
Jonathan Adams (b. July 16, 1967) is an American actor, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He has appeared in several roles in American television, most notably in American Dreams. On this, he played series regular Henry Walker, an employee in the radio and television store owned by the patriarch of the protagonist's family. This show appeared on NBC from 2002 - 2005.
Adams formerly portrayed Dr. Daniel Goodman in the FOX television series Bones. He left at the start of season 2, where it was said his character left for a two month sabbatical; he was replaced by Dr. Camille Saroyan. It is unclear if he will return to the cast of Bones.
Adams can currently be seen on the new ABC crime drama Women's Murder Club.
Between 1996 and 2000, Jonathan spent four years at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, playing, among other roles, Petruchio in The Taming of the Shrew, Buckingham in The Three Musketeers, and Guy Jacobs in Blues for an Alabama Sky by Pearl Cleage.
Originally trained as a painter, he studied art at Chelsea Art School and London University and taught in his hometown of Northhampton after spending time in the RAF Medical Corps. He was a performer with the Children's Theatre Company and was involved in several productions in London's West End, including two years in "Alibi For a Judge."
Has two daughters, the oldest is named Sydney.
