John Frink (born 1964, Whitesboro, New York) is an American producer and writer who is most noted for having a character named after him on The Simpsons.
A graduate of Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, Frink holds a degree in creative writing and began his career as a writer for several short-lived sitcoms. He joined the writing staff of The Simpsons in 2000.
Ironically, as a writer and producer for "The Simpsons", the nerdy scientist character Professor Frink's first name is John.
Attended Emerson College and graduated in 1982.
