Jibbs feat. Jibbs is the debut album by St. Louis, Missouri rapper Jibbs. It was released on October 24, 2006 and leaked onto the Internet on October 10, 2006. The album debuted at #11 on the Billboard 200, with about 47,000 copies sold in its first week.
The album is produced by The Beatstaz, David Banner, Polow Da Don, and Maestro, and includes performances by Chamillionaire, Lil' Wayne, Yung Joc, Melody (of The Pussycat Dolls), David Banner, and Fabo of D4L. The first single is "Chain Hang Low," the second is "King Kong," the third is Go Too Far, and the fourth is "Smile".
The song "Chain Hang Low" became controversial when blogger Byron Crawford revealed that the melody was lifted from a minstrel show song on a post he did for xxlmag.com.
