Formerly known as What Whut?! (also What What), Jean Grae is an independent hip hop Okayplayer MC hailing from New York. Her first major debut to the public eye was with the group Natural Resource, whose track entitled Negro League Baseball was featured on DJ Babu ’s World Famous Beat Junkies Mixtape Volume 1 in 1996.
