James Christian Urbaniak (born September 17, 1963) is an American actor. He has been acclaimed for his acting in the film Henry Fool and the play Thom Pain (based on nothing), for which he was nominated for a Drama Desk Award. He provides the voice for Dr. Thaddeus Venture on The Venture Bros., as well as the Doctor's brother, Jonas Jr and the super-villain Phantom Limb.
In May of 2007, a facetious comment that Urbaniak made on a journal entry triggered rumors that Urbaniak was going to be replaced on Venture by actor Liev Schreiber. Urbaniak has stated that any rumors of him leaving were false.
Urbaniak was born in Bayonne, New Jersey. He lives in Santa Monica, California with his wife Julie and their fraternal twins Severn Jerzy and Esme Maeve.
