:For the Robyn song, see Be Mine!.
"Be Mine" was the first single from Wild Orchid's second album, Oxygen. After scoring modest pop success with singles like "Talk to Me" and "At Night I Pray", "Be Mine" became the bands first single to miss the pop chart, peaking at number 103.
"Be Mine" is the first single to be released off Swedish pop singer-songwriter Robyn's 2005 self-titled album. It will be released in the UK as the fourth single from the album in 2008. The single was added to the UK Radio One C list on 28 November 2007. Radio One moved it up to the B list on 5 December 2007. It has since moved up to the A list
The single was a big success in Sweden, peaking at number three in their official singles chart. It also had some success in the rest of Scandinavia, peaking within the top twenty in both Finland and Norway. The song was also a great critical success, being voted the #21 single on Pitchfork magazine's top 2005 songs and #4 on a similar best-of-2005 list by Stylus.
The song was mentioned as being Robyn's fourth UK single from her album in the Robyn.com official newsletter dated November 14 2007, in which a new video and new remixes for the song were mentioned. This information was later confirmed at her official site, along with the information that it was to be digitally released on December 30, with a physical release on January 14. Remixers were confirmed to be Klas Åhlund, Dusty Kid, Jori Hulkkonen, Meatboys, Ocelot, Redroche and Roger Sanchez.
The studio live "Be Mine (at Högalid Studio)" version of the song was also featured on Robyn's The Rakamonie EP, however titled as "Be Mine (Ballad Version)" instead.
