Jeff Renzetti (born March 17, 1969), better known as Turd the Bartender, is a radio broadcaster, and one of the original cohorts on the nationally syndicated morning drive radio show Mancow's Morning Madhouse. Renzetti is a Chicagoland native and lifelong resident of that city's South Side. Renzetti is married to wife Laura Renzetti and is of Italian (more specifically of Sicilian) descent.
Renzetti was discovered at Pauly's Pub in South Chicago Heights by soon-to-be radio personality Mancow Muller as a bartender. Muller soon brought him onto the show as a sidekick and stuntman to perform wild stunts over the airwaves of Rock 103.5 and Q101 at the whim of Muller and his listeners. Renzetti is also a graduate of the Illinois Center for Broadcasting. Over the years, he established himself as one of the most central and popular cohorts of Muller.
In July of 2006, after twelve years on Muller's morning show, Renzetti left due to personal issues. It should be noted that this is the second time Turd has deserted Mancow, as he also left the show in early 2001 for a brief period. Renzetti has appeared with former Mancow cohort Wally "Freak" Kozielski on Freak's afternoon radio show on WRXQ-FM (100.7) in Joliet, IL, between 2-7 PM central time. Renzetti has started to appear on Mancow's former homebase station Q101 with Ryan Manno from 12-6 AM central time. It is rumored that Renzetti will be a DJ on the Chicago classic rock station WLUP-FM "The Loop".
Bartender is one of Virginia jam band Dave Matthews Band's most popular live songs featured on their studio album Busted Stuff. The song was one of the many that carried over from the near-abandoned project that is The Lillywhite Sessions. The song is about a man, while talking to a bartender, dealing with thoughts of his own death. The man talks to his family, telling them not to having certain feelings about him if he goes before his time. If you count The Lillywhite Sessions album as a Dave Matthews Band studio album, then Bartender is the longest Dave Matthews Band song ever recorded, the only one over ten minutes. Structurally, the song starts with a single note introduction before moving into the lyrical section with march-style drumming by Carter Beauford. After the lyrics finish, the song begins an extended jam session featuring emotional, improvised vocals by Dave Matthews. The jam builds into a loud climax before decrescendoing into a flute outro by LeRoi Moore. When performed live, the song becomes much longer (sometimes 15+ minutes) and certain songs are interplorated into it, such as If I Only Had a Brain (as can be seen on Live Trax Vol. 6).
"Bartender" is an R&B/hip-hop song by T-Pain and the official second single from his second album, Epiphany. The song features Akon. The song debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart on the issue date of June 16, 2007 at number ninety-seven and has thus far peaked at number five, making the single T-Pain's fourth consecutive top ten hit single on the Billboard Hot 100 as well as Akon's ninth top ten hit single on the same chart. In 2008 the song was nominated for a Grammy for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group.
The video premiered on Yahoo! Music on June 13, 2007 as the Bonus Video. It features T-Pain dancing in front of a bar and flirting with the "Bartender". BET's Access Granted also premiered the video on June 13, 2007.
